Alice Ellen Fordham and Stephen Heaver

Alice Ellen - known as Ellen or Nellie - was born in 1882 daughter of George and Alice Fordham (nee Anker).

In 1909 she married Steven Walter William Heaver in Bromley.

They had two children:

He nephew Edward Alan Fordham wrote:

"Nellie.  Married Steven heaver they had two sons.  Lived at St Mary Cray, Kent.  He was manger of the International Stores.  Moved to Ascot in later years to manage stores there.  Awarded gold medal for good trade three years running.  Sons Robert and Charlie both married.  Charlie took over stores management from his father.  Robert dealt in insurance.  Both dead.  Nellie died from cancer."

Whilst tracing the family history I made contact with Marjory Heaver, Robert's widow.
