Ellen Fordham and John GreenEllen was born in Coney Weston, Suffolk, in 1840, first child on Adam and Mary Ann Fordham (nee Bloomfield). She features on the 1851 census aged 10 years old at her parents house in Coney Weston. In 1870 Ellen was the witness at the wedding of her brother George Fordham in Whittlesey to Alice Anker. In 1871 she married John Green (born 1848) in Coney Weston church. Marriage banns for Ellen Fordham of Coney Weston and John Green, batchelor of Rushford, Norfolk, were announced on 24th September by Charles W Hatten, Curate, on 1st October by Rev. Edwards, Rector and on 8th October by Charles Hatten, Curate. Ellen and John had two children:
