William and Rebecca Woodcock (nee Thacker)William Woodcock the first surviving son of Samuel and Ann Woodcock (nee Hoole) was baptised in Thorney Abbey on 28th January 1826. William married Rebecca Thacker (born c. 1828) on 19th March 1850 in Thorney Abbey Church
In the 1851 census William is listed as a shoemaker and living with his wife and parents-in-law, in 1861 and 1871 as an agricultural labourer and labourer respectively, however by 1881 Rebecca is listed as a widow so clearly William had passed away since 1871. |
